Dahlia 'Playa Blanca' is compact, bushy and clump-forming and will produce a large number of spikey white flowers. The flowers are slightly smaller than other cultivars but 'Playa Blanca' will produce significantly more.
Growing 50-70cm this semi cactus flowering Dahlia is best grown in a large container or sunny border, in moist but well-drained soil.
To overwinter after the first frost, cut off the top growth, dig up the tuber and leave it to dry for three weeks. Overwinter it in an airy, frost-free place, and replant the following spring. Alternatively, grow dahlias in pots and move them indoors in autumn.
