Lime Citrus Tahiti is a classic seedless fruit on a prolifically cropping plant, which if left on the tree will eventually turn yellow in cooler climates.

The leaves are very aromatic and can be used for cooking, just throw one or two into some rice whilst cooking and it will add and exotic twist to the meal. A great alternative fruit for Gin and Tonics and excellent in Mexican beer.

This lime sets fruits well on young plants and is a great starter plant and essential in any Citrus collection.

Lime Tahiti requires at least six hours of sunlight a day and in the hottest summer areas, morning sun and afternoon shade are best. They prefer well-drained, slightly acidic soil; however, the soil must hold enough water to remain moist. Its usually best to allow the soil to dry out only slightly between watering and fertilise regularly when growing with a feed designed for citrus trees.

A perfect indoor Lime tree (only suitable for the patio/terrace outside as this will need to be bought indoors in colder weather) this Lime variety will bear fruit within the next year if pollinated.
